Customs: Russian aluminum exports rise 56% in January–October
MOSCOW, Dec 13 (PRIME) -- Russia’s raw aluminum exports increased by 56.3% on the year to 3.3 million tonnes in January–October, the Federal Customs Service said on Monday.
In monetary terms, aluminum exports almost doubled to U.S. $6.6 billion in the period.
Copper exports decreased by 19.6% to 438,500 tonnes worth $3.6 billion, a 17.9% increase.
Nickel exports fell by 42.5% to 45,000 tonnes with the cost decreasing by 35.5% to $788.3 million.
